Prince and Princess of Wales Join Everton Event on World Suicide Prevention Day

A Liverpool engagement after Oslo
The Prince of Wales attended Everton Football Club on September 10 to launch a suicide-prevention initiative on World Suicide Prevention Day. The Princess of Wales joined him at Hill Dickinson Stadium, though the original diary listed William alone.
William had been in Oslo on Wednesday for the state funeral of King Harald V of Norway. He returned to Britain for the Liverpool visit after seeing Prince George off to Eton earlier in the week.
First joint outing since the Sussexes’ return
Royal reporters described the couple’s appearance as their first joint official engagement since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved back to the United Kingdom in late August.
Kensington Palace issued photographs from the stadium. The palace did not add comment on the Sussex household in the briefing for the event.
