Tatler has named the Princess of Wales Britain’s best-dressed person of 2026, the second time she has topped the list after 2022. The magazine pointed to a bright yellow Ascot look, a grass-green Wimbledon outfit, a pale-blue Trooping the Colour coat dress, and a navy Commonwealth Day coat dress.

Editors also noted more tailoring this year, including a Gabriela Hearst linen trouser suit at Wimbledon and a Ralph Lauren blazer at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

British labels in the mix

Alexander McQueen, Beulah London, Anya Hindmarch, Christopher Kane, Catherine Walker, and Emilia Wickstead all featured in the year’s public appearances cited by the ranking.

The list lands as the autumn royal diary resumes after summer and as London Fashion Week approaches later this month.
